Making Money Online with Google in 2012

Let's face it: The vast majority of ways to make money online in 2012 depend on Google. If you have your own website, you're working hard to make sure it's at the top of the Google rankings. If you run a blog, you might have Google Ads that pay off every time someone clicks them. If you're an affiliate, you might be running your own Google ads to get traffic to your affiliate links. If you use article marketing, you want your articles to come up in Google searches. The list goes on, but you get the point.

If you're trying to make money online in 2012, you're most likely going to need to become familiar with Google at some point. You'll want to keep up with their policy changes to make sure that your websites stay high in the rankings or that your account doesn't get banned for breaking any rules. This is easy enough if you're running only one website or marketing campaign, but as your business grows to include multiple income streams, this burden might grow as well.

So what's the best way to avoid this extra hassle and ensure you keep making money online with Google in 2012? Simple: make sure your business isn't vulnerable to these changes in the first place. Before the latest major Google "rule change", many dishonest people were abusing the system to get their websites ranked higher. They used programs to spam thousands of links to their website, or plagarized higher ranked websites to try and get more traffic. Google caught on, and after the update many of these abusers found their sites not only a lot lower in the rankings...but sometimes gone from Google searches completely!

The best way to prevent something like this is to be honest and ethical with your online business. Don't spam, don't scam, and don't try to cheat the system. Of course, this doesn't mean you shouldn't take advantage of Google policies...they have a formula that tells what they want to see from a website. If you know how to interpret it, you'll definitely be making money online with Google this year.
